Girl Scout Camp
Hayley and I went to Girl Scout camp last weekend. They had a lot of fun activities and, with the heat wave here in SoCal, it let us avoid some of the worst of the weather. We did have some thunderstorms in the area that curtailed some of our swimming time, but overall it was lots of fun.
We participated in the following activities: swimming (lots of that), canoeing, archery, hiking (short hikes), and horseback riding. The horses were Hayley's favorite part by far. At the end of our ride, she made "fourteen new friends" by giving each of them a handful of sweet oats. She even got to help lead one to the stall at the end of the day. Lots of fun for her.

Lee's sister, Nancy, currently has 17 horses. She's always up for a "ranch hand" to help for a week or so, if that sounds like something Hayley might want to do down the road...
