Picture uploads not working
I tried to post a new entry today, but my picture uploads are not working. I got a "new" computer (i.e., refurbished) at work since my last one died this week. I don't know if the problem is there or due to problems with the site.
So no picture update today. Hopefully that will work on the next posting.

Finlandia Hall
Yesterday's post was me in front of Finlandia Hall. Contrary to yesterday's guesses, it is not a vodka factory nor is it my planned retirement home.
It is used for concerts and large meetings. It was designed by a famous Finnish architect. The plans started the same year I was born. It is a source of architectural pride for the Finnish people.
Here are a few more photos that I took nearby.

As you can see from one of the photos, the temperature was 19C (upper 60s in Fahrenheit). That is a heat wave for Helsinki in September! They were amazed that back home for me in California it was barely falling below 19C overnight and days were nearly reaching 40c (104F). They could not imagine living in such a hot place!

Need to start posting again...
I have not been keeping up-to-date on postings. I need to get going again.
Last week was a travel week again. That gives me some topics. Guess where I was.
