Holiday Shutdown
My company did a holiday shutdown from 12/22 - 1/1. While there was some support going on, for the most part the company was closed and everyone went home. It was basically a free vacation for all of us. I am familiar with companies that do this, but this was the first time that I have worked at a company with this policy. It was a nice year-end break and, outside of a small amount of support work, I got to spend most of it doing fun things with the family.

After all the time you were gone, that's nice that you got some (mostly) uninterrupted time with your family :)
The big problem for me is getting back into the swing of things after the 2 weeks off school. It's only Wednesday & I'm exhausted already.
I'll bet if I did some kind of weight training while I was off work, doing the lifts at work again wouldn't feel so strenuous, huh?
I'll put that on my calendar for next year - lift weights on Break....
