The Last Baby Tooth
This week, Hayley lost her last primary (a.k.a., "baby") tooth. She went to bed with a loose tooth and couldn't leave it alone. A few twists later, and she had removed it. She was very mature about the process including taking care of a fair amount of blood that followed the tooth on her own.
Since Hayley is our youngest child, this represents the last Tooth Fairy visit for our family. The next Tooth Fairy visit will come sometime in the future when the kids have kids (and should not be in our home!). Maybe it's just me, but this seems like a big moment for such a little event.

aw... for me it was the first lost tooth. i was more/less prepared for santa clause and diapers and booger rags and tears and kisses and other assorted parent/kid stuff. but i was caught completely unawares by that first arrival of the tooth fairy.
thanks for the heads up about the last visit. ;->

Not having any little ones, I hadn't thought about it that way.
Looking forward, Does the TF come back around when I start losing teeth again? Probably won't get much for them tho-
