Middle School
Today is the first day of school for the 7th graders that start middle school (middle school is 7th and 8th here). The 7th graders get a day to get used to the school without the 8th graders around to terrorize them. Naturally the 8th graders will assume their role starting tomorrow.
Anyway, Hayley is excited about the new school. She had a brief stint in Preschool when she was 4, but did not last long. So she really has only ever known her Elementary school. She is looking forward to the interesting new experience.
Although the 7th graders start a day before everyone else, the good news is that they get out a day early at the end of the school year.
