Quilts

Celeste makes quilts. She is very good at it! She took one class in how to do it about 15 years ago and realized that the instructor taught it wrong. From there, she has been self-taught and quickly moved to teaching quilting to others. She has made many, many quilts over the last 15 years or so. We only have pictures of a fraction of them.

For today's post, I decided to put some pictures up of two of the quilts she has done that happen to be on this laptop. I took both of these pictures in 2008.

The first is a quilt that she was paid to make for a scout when he earned his Eagle Scout rank. Celeste designed the quilt based on some general ideas from the kid's mother. It brings together elements from Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.

The second is a quilt that she did for one of her classes. She taught her students to make a floral quilt.

Can you guess which one I want to see a picture of?

Oh - I should take a photo of the one she made for Connor and send it so you can add that in :) It's so beautiful!

Tina,
That would be great - I am pretty sure we don't have a photo of that one.

Steve,
You just have to wait.

Well, if Tina is going to send one of the Connor one, then I should send a photo of the one for Kaleigh that we still have put away for when...well, for later!
We won't go there!
hehe

WOW!! Those are amazing! Any chance of a naval quilt for me? lol j/k
