Finland Update
I was not able to get a camera from the hotel concierge as was suggested. Instead, here are some updates and some pictures that I found on the internet.
My hotel room overlooks the Natural History Museum. This picture shows the museum. The building on the right side of the picture is the corner of my hotel. My window actually looks down the street to the right of the museum as you face it. I see the museum as I look slightly to my left and the Finnish Parliament building as I look out my window to the right.

It snowed here yesterday. Not a heavy snow, but it was constant all day long. So the picture above is nice, but it doesn't look like that right now. The picture below (taken from some random Helsinki visitor's photos) is more typical of what it looks like now.

Finally, as Keeka requested I helped Felix the bunny send a postcard to Cole's school. I must say that Felix is a very good writer. I took him on a walk past the Parliament building to a local tourist shop to pick out a postcard and a stamp. I also did a little tourist shopping of my own for the family. Who knows, I might have just spent the Euro that will tilt the Finnish economy upwards and thus allowing them to lead the world to an economic recovery. It could happen!

OK, off to dinner now. Nothing Finnish -- probably either a burger or a Chinese place.

For the record, I took a walk and found a Mexican place. I had chips & salsa and a chicken burrito. Not as good as at home, but a nice find since I really enjoy Mexican food!
I really, really enjoy travel posts. For someone I know to actualy be somewhere like Helsinki and describe a bit of it is almost like travel by proxy. Are the Finns still really into Tango? That always struck me as a curious dynamic.
Thank you for the update & the google-image photos. Nicely done.
The feast looks very good. :)
I'm glad you found a Mexican place and it was okay. I have found that is a type of food that other countries don't do well - like they're missing key spices or something.
Thanks again :)

Steve,
I don't know about Tango habits here. I will try to remember to ask tomorrow. It is not something that I have come across. Glad that you enjoy the travel posts. I wasn't sure if they were pure vanity or if they were being somewhat enjoyed.
I have to say the same thing about your rescue stories. I have shared a number of them almost as if they were my own. Feel free to do the same with my travel!
Tina,
The burrito had a definite Finnish twist to it. The lunches that I have in the cafeteria tend to be casserole / saucy dishes. The burrito that I had followed this trend - a fairly heavy sauce inside. It was tasty, but not very authentic tasting. It was also heavy on the onions and bell peppers (they definitely like their bell peppers here!) and light on the chicken. That was fine with me since I am trying to avoid over-eating on the trip.
