Spring Break 2009 Vacation
Just a quick note - the family is on Spring Break vacation this week. We are taking Ina to see some new parts of California. It is a whirlwind trip since we have to be back on Saturday to host a Pancake Breakfast event.
We started in Monterey. We mostly spent time driving around to various places to take pictures. Here are a few samples.

No on Motel 6. We save money in other areas and get a 2 room suite hotel for our travel. I try to use points earned from my trips when I can too. Anyway, we stayed at Embassy Suites in Monterey and San Francisco (where I am as I write this). We are staying in a 2 room cabin near Yosemite tomorrow and Thursday nights.
We have done Motel 6 with the adjoining rooms before which is ok, but not quite the same space or comfort for a large family.

we are planning a trip to Monterey this summer, they have a Holiday Inn Express nearby, so we are so there!
